Please join us for a Fun Day of Golf on Friday 1st May, starting from 12pm. Playing at Lansdown Golf Club BA1 9BT, just up the hill from Kingswood.

This really is a day for everyone — men and women alike, whether you’re a regular golfer, have only just taken up the game, or are still finding your way around the course. The emphasis is very much on enjoyment, encouragement, and good company, rather than pressure or fierce competition.

Main Course – Texas Scramble

The main event will be played as a Texas Scramble in teams of four (or three) , a format that is ideal for mixed abilities. It keeps the game sociable and relaxed, allowing less experienced players to stay fully involved without any pressure, while still giving confident golfers the chance to shine.

The cost is £40 per person, which includes the golf and a well-earned meal back at the clubhouse — a choice of ham, egg and chips or a vegetarian option — giving everyone the chance to relax and enjoy time together at the end of the afternoon.

You are very welcome to come along as a single player or as part of a four-ball. If you’re joining on your own, we’ll be delighted to match you up with others to create a team.

Academy Course Option – Perfect for Beginners

For those newer to the game, we’re also offering the opportunity to play on the Academy Course. You can go around as many times as you like, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at your own pace, and still join everyone afterwards for the meal.

The cost for this option is £20 per person, including the meal.
