Support us

The Development Office at Kingswood School plays a vital role in growing and maintaining strong links between members of the wider Kingswood School Community and the School itself. We work closely to support the excellent work done by the Old Kingswoodian Association and the Friends of Kingswood School.

We look forward to meeting you at the wide range of Kingswood School Community and Old Kingswoodian Association events which take place at the School, in the UK and around the world.

We are very grateful to the many members of the Kingswood School Community who have supported the School over the years. This support takes many forms, including anything from attending an event or helping to organise or host an event to volunteering at or supporting previous fundraising appeals.

Kingswood School does not have a permanent endowment to support our ambitious plans for the future. Fee income covers the cost of the daily running of the School. Development of our facilities and widening access to our Bursary Fund for parents who are unable to afford our fees is funded from a combination of annual school surpluses, prudent borrowings and the generous philanthropic giving of the entire Kingswood School community.

A legacy gift is an opportunity to invest in an education that is second to none by supporting the development of Kingswood School for future generations. Even the smallest pledge makes a real impact that will extend beyond your lifetime. We also offer an option for members of the Kingswood community to reflect their affection for the School at a level that is not possible during their lifetimes.

The 1748 Society was established to acknowledge and thank everyone who has made the decision to include Kingswood School in their will. Events organised by the 1748 Society include an annual lunch as well as other special occasions during the year. We are extremely grateful to the many members of the Kingswood School community who have already joined the society by remembering the School in their will.

A legacy gift is currently exempt from inheritance tax; it also has the potential to reduce the tax burden on your family while maximising the benefit of the gift to the School. As a registered charity, Kingswood School pays no tax on gifts it receives.

We look forward to sharing our plans for the next phase of development of the School as they are finalised.
