Roy's family wish to share that Roy died peacefully on the 11th of June 2021 after a long illness. There will be a memorial service at Kingswood Chapel on Roy's Tuesday 21st September at 2pm, followed by a memorial gathering at the Simon Morris Pavilion on the Upper Playing Fields.
All who knew Roy are welcome to attend the service and the gathering. This is a thanksgiving service- we would be grateful if you avoid wearing black. We would prefer everyone to wear a mask if possible.
Parking at the school is difficult. If you are unable to park at or around the school, there will a minibus available to transfer people from the Upper to the service and then back to the 'reception' at the Upper.
Any queries please contact Kate at RoyCookMemorialService@gmail.com. If anyone wishes to share any memories of Roy, whether you plan to attend the service or not, you're invited to use the same email to do so.
