It is with great sadness that we write to inform you that Richard Garforth passed away on 6th November 2025.
Richard had a long and devoted connection with Kingswood. He attended Kingswood from 1960 to 1966, before returning as a member of staff in 1973, where he taught until his retirement in 2015. His dedication, kindness, and commitment to the school community will be remembered by all who knew him.
Richard’s family have asked us to share the details of his funeral, to which everyone is warmly invited:
