On Friday 7th November Kingswood held their Service of Remembrance.
After an opening prayer, Bible reading: John 15:12-17, Poem and Hymm the 174 Memorial crosses of former pupils and staff who gave their lives in service of their country were planted in the ground as names were read out by the Senior Deputy Head and by the Headmaster.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
