WELCOME TO THE KINGSWOOD SCHOOL COMMUNITY!

Join the Kingswood School Community today, the perfect place to reconnect with old school friends and colleagues as well as staying up to date with news and events within our Kingswood Community!

A WELCOME FROM THE HEADMASTER

As Kingswood’s Headmaster, it is a source of immense pride to see our pupils grow in mind, body and spirit within our diverse school community.  More than 275 years may have passed since we were founded, but we remain rooted in the Wesleyan values which underpin our inclusive, whole person approach to education; guiding young people in “every branch of useful learning”, supporting them to gain both the qualifications and develop the personal qualities that will enable them to lead meaningful lives of service.

As members of the Old Kingswoodian community, you represent the Kingswood vision and mission and we know so many of you are doing great things across the globe, excelling on a personal level and making a real difference to the lives of others. A good number of these accounts are written up in Gary Best’s updated history, A School Set Apart, published in 2023 to mark our anniversary, and which I commend to you.

It is an enormous pleasure for me to meet Old Kingswoodians – whether here at the school at Association Day, at one of our university lunches or during visits abroad. I get to hear some wonderful stories (and a few amusing tales!) about your own school years and learn of your life stories and achievements since leaving Kingswood.

As alumni of Kingswood, you are an important part of our community and of our current and future success.  And we want to encourage you to be active members of the Kingswood community – contributing in any way you can, wherever you are in the world.

This online portal is dedicated to helping you stay connected – both with each other and with the life and work of Kingswood today. I hope you find it useful and enjoyable to maintain your link with your former school.

I look forward to meeting many more Old Kingswoodians in the future – remember, you are always welcome to return to see us in person.

A MESSAGE FROM KIRSTY ALLEN, YOUR OLD KINGSWOODIAN CHAIR

I am honoured to serve as the Chair of the Old Kingswoodian Association and to represent the alumni community. Although, the Old Kingswoodian Association is comprised primarily of former pupils, please remember that the Association is also for parents of former pupils and former members of Kingswood staff.

Please do share details across your own networks and encourage any Old Kingswoodians to get in touch with Michele Greene, our wonderful Alumni & Community Manager, so we can ensure the Association continues to grow.

We also welcome any feedback you may have on this website and indeed our Old Kingswoodian Association programme – what works, what might need changing and what else could we be offering – all feedback is greatly appreciated!
